So as a few of you know I did a radio show that will air this Sunday the Current 89.3. I had them end the show with the song “Ode to Hip Hop” this is a song that I talked about in a face book post. I’ll give a short synopsis Mikey has a Uncle who is very sick and when he was young had to have both kidney’s removed. then a few years later his mentor died in an accident. Both of these things lead him to try an understand what happens to your material things, family and friends when you pass. So this song is what he decided as a young teen what he would leave the world. I wanted to put the lyrics up so people could read along with the song. I’m sure it will be out all over the internet since it was never released and even if I do put it on some of the unfinished works you will hear it first. So here are the lyric

I’m fifteen, but eyedea changed my life a lot even though i just found out about him last summer. He makes such amazing lyrics. Thanks for taking time to post this
Mikey’s lyrics never cease to make my heart stop. He was so poignant and so honest. Did he ever record this? (I haven’t seen anything posted on Facebook cuz I’ve been grounded for a while.) Anyway, just checking in to let you know how much of a difference he made.
