Mikey’s teeth

So it’s been awhile since I put up a story about Mikey. Well with the beaded picture that is for auction all money goes to Moving Forward Africa. I thought I would tell why Mikey has a space and chip in his front teeth. As you know Mikey was interested in many things and one of those as a young person about 8 or 9 was low rider bikes. He had to have this trick bike the ones with a bar between the handle bars, pegs for tricks, able to peddle forward and backwards, and yes he got it. So we had ramps in the driveway. But this one day and you can check with Pete, Justin, Bobby, Danny, Andy and maybe even Sam was there. Over by Pete’s mom’s house they have really high curbs. Knowing Mikey he just had to try to pop a wheelie over this curb. As he gained speed and went to pull up on the handle bars he bent down, pulled and hit his front teeth. Out they came. We found one but not other. We went to the dentist ER and they put one back and replaced the other. For about two weeks he was able to bit into things, had to have his food cut in small pieces. So new teeth. Well that’s not the end. So then again about 11-12 he was a black belt and in some competition he got hit and out they came. So back to now get two new fake teeth. Then at a show he chipped them both. At the time it cost about 1000 to fix them. So I told him this is it I can’t afford this anymore and if you do it again your going to have to pay for them. Well they held you for several years but then again at a show hit his mouth with the mic and cracked one. I was like your going to have to pay for he. He was no way it’s a tooth, I kinda like it this way. It took him a little time to get use to it. As you know, if you have something in your mouth your tongue always goes right to it. But he liked it, it was it makes me look tough. If you know anything about Mikey he was very tough but never used it against others. He was a black belt and I have seen he take out over 6 foot men. Well there is front teeth story. Thank you all for the support, love and reminders that Mikey maybe gone from this reality but he is never far away. Love Kathy
