Show

So I went to see the Chris, No Bird Sing, Red Pens, Ordeal, and another group last night. I have to say it was fine. It was a good show of course but this is the first show I have gone to and not cried. Most of the shows I have gone to have been good shows but the emotions have been over whelming. This one was different I didn’t have the nagging feeling that Mikey should walk in any min. I still wished he was there. Everyone did such a good job and he would of been very proud of them. But at least I didn’t spend the whole time crying and that is an improvement. I did have a few good friends Jason, Bethany, Jammie who hang out with me. I think also that the more variety there was the better for me. So there was Bands, Hip Hop, Guitar and it was a different air about things.

Brady was over today and we started looking at what we need to do first and the big picture things for Mikey’s projects. He is such a nice guy. Mikey really did know how to pick good people to work with. Brady is very smart, willing to help and had many conversations with Mikey the year before he passed that Brady really understands what Mikey was trying to do. I’m glad to have him help me wade through all the things in the studio. Here’s a big THANK YOU or AT A BOY.

Maybe people will again start asking me to go to see them if they think there’s a chance I won’t cry. Not that I got asked much before Mikey passed he was the one that made sure I knew who was playing where and when even if he was out of town. Mikey was very good at making sure I felt or anyone he knew felt they were out to see something great and always entertaining.
